Today’s Lesson in Tattoo Stencils

Apparently if I draw up the line work for an entire backpiece on tracing paper using a Col-erase black pencil and then try to make a stencil from it, it doesn’t work. The stencil machine will pick up nothing. Even when I tired to photocopy it first the stencil came up mysteriously blank.

Lesson learned.

Unfortunately this means that I then had to send home my appointment with no ink actually on her skin. On the bright side, she loved the drawing and was very understanding about the whole thing.

It’s one of those days where the belief that “things go the way they are supposed to go” gets put to the test. So now I have some free time which is a good thing. It would be a better thing if I was one of those people who know what to do with free time.
